The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving new business acquisition, building strategic relationships, and closing high-value deals with global organisations.
This role sits within the Corporate Sales team and works closely with, Marketing,Product, and Operations teams. The BDM plays a critical role in expanding Interprefy’s client base while ensuring a strong foundation for long-term partnerships and revenue growth.
Key Responsibilities
Client / Customer
· Build and nurture relationships with C-suite executives and senior stakeholders
· Present and demo Interprefy’s multilingual technology solutions to prospective clients
· Conduct consultative sales conversations tailored to client needs and industry challenges
· Ensure smooth handover to delivery teams post-sale to support a seamless client experience
Operational
· Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to deal closure
· Maintain accurate pipeline tracking and opportunity management in CRM systems
· Coordinate internally with Operations and Customer Success to ensure service alignment
Business Development / Growth
· Identify, target, and engage global corporate clients across key markets
· Generate new leads through outbound prospecting, networking, and collaboration with SDRs and Marketing
· Develop and execute personalised outreach strategies
· Expand existing accounts through upselling and cross-selling opportunities
Administrative / Reporting
· Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in CRM (HubSpot, Salesforce, or similar)
· Track sales performance, pipeline progress, and forecasting
· Provide insights and feedback on market trends and client needs
Strategic / Cross-functional
· Collaborate with Marketing on campaigns and lead generation initiatives
· Work closely with Customer Success to ensure long-term client retention and growth
· Contribute to improving sales processes, messaging, and go-to-market strategies
